Discussion: Congratulations

On lots of accounts - winning your class, Newcastle club of the year, Newcastle winning interclub trophy, Rockman finishing his course etc. Sounds as though things are good in the club at the moment.

We are very fortunate to have a lot of very generous and selfless people. I was surprised about Club of the Year, though. I'd picked another. But I was also very happy because of the recognition of the work done by a very few to put on the MTBO events. It also showed we have diversity. And I was so pleased for Rookie of the Year as I am mentoring her a little.

Good work on getting the bear for Astrid. Any idea why so many of the schoolkids who were entered didn't show?

No I wondered too. The only thing I think was that it was a "group" booking and something fell through. Presidents' Forum the night before was very well attended and the switch in proceedings for ONSW presentation from a "formal" to informal format was good.
