How do you manage to run EVERY DAY? You're stressing me out, man. I thought 4x/week was good.

Just take a look at my log to make yourself feel better :)

I guess it is a habit. A few years ago my strategy to get 5-6 days a week was: plan to train every day, on the assumption that something unpredictable would force me to miss a day or two each week anyway. That worked better for me than planning days off, and then having stuff come up on days I expected to be training.

For what it's worth, I have found that I am way more tempted to skip training on days when I am short on sleep. Or on the weekend when some negotiation may be required.

It should be some consolation that my days are all pretty low quality recently. If you get any hard workouts in your week it will be more than me.

Well your log does inspire me to get out and train on days when I can’t be bothered, so that’s the point right?

I’m not doing any speed sessions either (so no advantage there) - mostly as not getting enough sleep generally so just getting out is tough enough. I am doing some decent long runs at least.

Just wanna make sure I can keep up with you next year!

Kenny is a model of consistency.
