Next semester is Embedded Controllers, where will we get an ECU to talk to a torque sensor and move a steering wheel. Which is what my day job has been for 10+ years, but this is closer to the hardware than the system specification and performance level - ie, some light c coding and such and mostly lab-based.
Then, spring/summer are off, because neither A2 or UMD offer my final class. Given my upcoming life events, perhaps not the worst timing!
Then I wrap up with a 400 level controls class in the fall. A colleague who is also married with kids said it's not that bad.
