I guess that you never know until you've tried, but it has to be better to call it early than to start down the spiral. Can't be a great feeling but at least there is still a long way to go until racing season.

the nagging of the AP running/weekly total is an irritating constant that we should be able to control but just... can't.

Not totally convinced by that article. I am still for counting mileage as I believe mileage for the sake of mileage can is a purpose of training in itself. Just need to stop being competitive with myself about it.

Tess-Laura keeps getting very excited whenever you and Murray update your logs. I think she has already started planning our next trip whenever that may be. Merry Christmas.

from that article I got 'don't stop logging mileage, but have a healthier relationship with it' and that listening to your body is more important than the extra few miles.
