Sam H goes there a bit. I was thinking of going there early February as have a rogaine function nearby later in the day. But the "several" loops - am I right? - put me off a bit. So also looked Windsor but not too keen on it.

3 loops. 1st and 3rd loop identical.
2nd loop has an extra circuit at the bottom to make up the required distance for the 5 km.
But going up and down the same hill 3 times wasn’t very interesting.
But yes the surrounding gardens looked nice.
Also the incredibly windy Galston gorge road nearby was an experience to drive - no wonder they have huge signs banning trucks from entering from either side!

Put Cooks River on your list... I know it is. While it is 2 laps it is a very nice peaceful river run.

I was thinking of going there this morning but although I had been up since 4 am ... dragging another person with me dictated a 7 am departure so I wouldn’t have made it in time. Nepean river was 2nd closest but I was contemplating doing that 9:30 am New Year’s Day but that is looking unlikely as I will most probably be halfway to Wollongong that night.

Our 9:30 NYD is The Beaches.... so Nah not a goer. Will be doing Lake Mac to tick it off and will be walking with rockman.
