Discussion: Super moon

I agree, it was awesome! And a blue moon, as we get another full moon this month, as you no doubt realise, this one being on the 1st.

Doesn't that make the second one blue? They certainly liked showing off the moon in both BBL matches tonight.

It's still pretty good tonight, and with the wisps of cloud looks more like the "wolf moon" that I've seen referred to (in northern hemisphere media) in relation to its being a full moon in January. Maybe we should plan some night-o training for the 'blue' moon on the 31st!

Was there any coastal flooding around Adelaide with the high tides? There was nuisance-level flooding at various places on the NSW coast, and more so (with some help from a storm) in New Zealand - enough to close Tamaki Drive in Auckland (the main road from the city to the eastern suburbs).
