I'm pretty sure I read on the michigan.gov site last year when I was working on creating maps, that all of Michigan has lidar currently. It's just that you need to know someone at the state department to get access. I can find the link if needed...

It looks like they updated the website since last time I researching this, this time last year. But Michigan "SAIL" program is what it's called. Now what I don't understand is there seems to be two different date sets now.

This one says they've already acquired all of michigan, unless I'm mistaken?

This is the main page link, for SAIL, which has a link at the bottom to a different set of dates thru 2022. So I don't know if this means they are redoing it all, or this is when they will release it? I remember the main page last year had a phrase that said the data was available to anyone who worked within the state government or you could contact the guy, which I think is the same, Everett Root, for access. If you recall I asked if we knew anyone who worked for the state that might be able to provide us an in. But maybe you should just contact this guy anyways and see how agreeable he is to sharing? Who knows maybe he is friendly chap.

Yes I got Muskegon data from Everett last year, he's great.

Still not sure if that map is all Lidar -- the program says imagery&Lidar so it could be just imagery.
