Discussion: Volunteer opportunity to teach kids orienteering

Navigation Games is seeking volunteers for our spring season. We're working with kids ages 3 through 18 in classes and on teams and in events open to the public. Please see the announcement for more information. In the fall we hosted two awesome orienteers from Spain; we'd like to do something similar April-June.

Showed my 10 year old that video. She really enjoyed it. I think it's a good advertisement for the position and the sport. Good luck.

I would recommend posting this on some European orienteering discussion boards, such as Nopesport and orienterare.nu.

OK, if anyone has other suggestions for where to post, we'd love to hear it. We also contacted IOF, because they have a volunteer matching service.

We have interviewed 5 candidates, and are still open to receiving candidate applications for the next week or two. If any other club is interested in getting volunteers, let me know and we can talk to you about our experience.
