Yay, congratulations! Can't wait to meet Fjola, who is actually the second non-Icelandic orienteering Fjola I've known!

Thanks! Congrats to you, too!

I'm only familiar with one Fjola, and that's only because we got to choose a name! Who's the other one that you know?

She was a girl in my French orienteering club. Her parents were French too but just also loved the name!

Welcome! And congratulations!

I'd never heard the name Fjola before, it's a cool name!

Yay, welcome! Has Fjola been out orienteering yet? We are eagerly awaiting reports of her first adventures...

No orienteering yet. I originally intended to map the 30-acre hospital campus to ISSOM and actually orienteer immediately upon discharge, but that didn't happen. I never had time to make the map, and because of post-delivery complications with Gina (she'll be ok), we wouldn't have done it anyway.

The orienteer in me is a little bummed, but the graphic designer in me is happy; she had a logo at birth!

(Coincidentally, she was born during the start window of a CascadeOC race!)

Cristina, there's a restaurant in Oslo named Fjola!

Oh! I’ve seen that place! Well, you’re going to have to take her to Oslo to check it out.

Yay for babies! Did I miss where you posted Fjola's logo? Also, wanted to make a joke about her birthday, but my mind is blank...will wait for an epiphany...

Send our best to Gina, hope there is a speedy recovery!
