Of course it’s hard to know how it will work out, but I have found the format, very short courses every day for a week or so, to be pretty good for me physically. I generally feel better by the end of one of these tours than I did at the beginning. Hope you (and I) have the same experience this time.

Many short courses should be OK - it's not so much the bad shape that worries me, more the fact that my muscles will get a shock when I start running again.
Hopefully I will stay out of injuries at least (and there's always food, drink and good company).

Being out of shape is a given. I was just observing that the regimen of a very short race every day followed by food drink and good company seems to suit my muscles well, and I generally end up less sore at the end than at the beginning.

(as stated I don´t know if my body agrees totally with the rest though...)
