James got in for second time this season...was 1 of 2 at free throw line and barely missed a three...all in less than a minute at end of game. He was rusty from lack of playing time.
What year is he? Sophomore?
Yep. He's an old sophomore...we held him back a year...he turned 19 a month after he graduated HS. I was still 17 yrs old the first week of college! If I had stayed in one place I would say I wished I had started school a year later because I was too young...but that would mean I was a year behind you in school (you are 9 months older) and no telling what impact that would have made on my life, but I do know it would be a lot.
Of course if I had been held back then I would say that I would not want my life changed to what it is now.
He really is a great kid. Everyone likes him in a good way and yet he's not 'too perfect' either. He's kinda a mix of me and my brother...don't misunderstand...I mean the good parts mostly. He would have been a great 800, 1600 man if he liked running and he would have been an incredible golfer if he had chosen that as his primary sport.
He wants to coach and I believe he had a gift for that also...combining knowledge, the right instincts to use that knowledge and the ability to get the players behind him.
