Hi James, I saw your post with Art regarding upping your FTP % per week on TR. So if my last workout was 130/132 TSS and .086 / 0.87 IF , hitting majority of my sweet spots and thresholds with just a few off my 6 - 7 watts, would that be fair to increase my FTP? Thanks

what week are you in the TR program?
do you monitor HR during these workouts? have you noticed any dropped in HR at the .86/87 IF workouts?
but i really do think if you are working through 4 or 6 week training block using TR that increasing your FTP a couple of watts er week is really beneficial because you should be getting fitter by the week and maybe wasting some time if you only increase your FTP/make the workouts harder every 4-6 weeks when there is a test.
I just finished my first week.
I monitor my HR during all my workouts. My HR feels pretty good in the 130s and 140s, but once I hit the 150s I'm feeling it in my legs, not breathing hard, probably because I did not give my body a break, plus I'm trying to get use to working out on a trainer vs outside riding. Mental Game.

any time dude. learning to do workouts in ERG mode on the trainer definitely takes some and it's a skill.... but it works!
