Track and Field News is going out of business. They were down to 7K subscribers...that is terrible. But kids these days are not into the stats like we were...or I was. 70+ years.

I saw that... sad. I know a couple of people who have all issues!
Dan Conway bought Eli a subscription last year, but I read it more than Eli. He'd skim it in the bathroom (hopefully not just the women high jumpers :)

I started up in 71 but dropped it around 1990 I think...may have started it up once more for another year not sure. Nothing is permanent I guess. Seems like someone could pick it up and do something with it even if it lost money, just manage it so it lost less money. The publicity from closing down might generate a lot of 'sympathy' subscribers.
