Some people always have strange views. Once whilst doing intervals in a park a dog (not on a leash) attacked me, stopping just short of biting me, and the owner's response was "you should not be running in the park".

On this event I had to stop/curve around various "moving obstacles", including a herd of deers trying to cross a road the same time as I did, as well as another lying under the cover of trees in the sleet in direct line to the control in the depression at the top of one of the hills (forgot its number), a neverending row of cars, etc. Luckily not a horse rider though, in my case.

I have nothing positive to say about horse riders as they do seem to think they own the land around their horse.
Yes plenty of obstacles in the park but that is the beauty as so many people and animals get to enjoy it.
