Discussion: Studying Abroad at the University of Edinburgh

Hello all! I'm planning on studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh this fall and I'm looking to talk to anyone who is currently attending or recently graduated! Especially curious about course recommendations in the Informatics Department. Also interested in the orienteering scene.

I hear that it is within a day's drive of Sheffield where there a great university orienteering club.

Alison Campbell studied in Edinburgh (at Herriot-Watt University) and should at least know things about the orienteering there.
As far as I know Mark Nixon (ex National Team runner) is or at least has been involved in coaching at U of E - Nixon on AP.

Rob worked in the informatics department before he came here. Didn't have too much to do with the undergraduate teaching but his friends do - if you have any specific questions let us know!
