Are you up in the UP to do the Nokie? Well if so, good luck. Too bad you don't finish in the Dome any more. And with the warmth this week, it may be slow going. So you might appreciate the Finish Line coming up sooner than usual.

Yep finished the Nokie... it was Fast and probably better they finish 5k out and bussed to the dome. We added much nicer trails to ski on than the crappy snow they pile up to finish at the dome.
Logistical wise better for the race.

Well congrats on a great finish! Considering you're at the top of your age group this year, 3:13 is a very respectable time! Especially considering the poor snow we've had and limited training. As far as I can remember, I think your longest outing was three loops at Nordic...27km. Right?

Thanks, my longest Ski was 2 hours once or twice at the 1.2 k loop at Lapham this year.
Nordic had had no groomed skiing and either has Greenbush.

Wow! That's XC dedication! And Parkside wasn't too good for skiing either. Nice that you're such a stable skier. Those icy downhills must have been hair-raising experiences for many. I notice that no one over 75 finished the race.

20 years and counting...nice going Charlie. Interesting to see the "A to B" course finishing in your hometown. You been miles ahead of AF for quite some time, too.

Hey Bob, not really. A week ago at the Wed night race I had it and my skiing sucked.
