LMK if you ever want company … I'm on a month-earlier training schedule for the marathon but need to get the runs in. IMO pavement is a necessary evil to get your legs trained for the stupidity of running 26 miles on pavement. Just, you know, watch out for those rogue cobblestones.
I agree that pavement is necessary, especially when adding some pace stuff. But, when it's just a case of getting the ligaments and stuff used to moving that way for a while, slow trails are fine. But yes, will let you know when I'm going out!
