Hey - ok so this has nothing to do with pool running and I am sorry about your knee mate!
But I wanted to ask your advice - I am in Sollentuna on Saturday for the Stockholm Indoor Cup and after that they have a 17.2k Långpass. Do you think I will manage this in around 2h or unlikely? There is also a 12.4k shortcut version.
Also in the forest I assume there will be lots of snow so not sure how I will find the white snitsler...and do I need neoprene socks which I don’t have.
The terrain doesn’t look terribly hard but still, any advice appreciated. Cheers.
Hey -
I don't think 2 hours will cut it for 17.2km. I would count on about 2.5-3 hours for that distance, but it depends a lot on how much snow there is. I'd probably recommend doing 12.4km instead. I think that will feel like plenty. Neoprene socks would definitely make the experience more pleasant. If you have time, you can stop by the OL-Specialisten store (Kungsholms Kyrkoplan 4

Also, the Stockholm Indoor Cup sounds awesome. Have a blast!
Cool, thanks! The way I understand it, the 12k is a shortcut some way round, so I guess I’ll know my pace by then.
Yes the Indoor Cup should be amazing. They have 1,200 people this year. Also Gustav B is off 1 minute after me, so the first goal is to get to control 1 before him.
