Congrats on a good run! You're so close, so you should be able to break 1:30 next time. I agree that Land's End is lovely. The area just north of the Golden Gate Bridge is wonderful too. :-)

By the way with regard to the NavX discussion, I wasn't aware that your husband would be back around--when my wife is around I tend to focus on quality time and encouraging whatever interest in orienteering she has with just the two of us, so that's totally understandable. And I'm sure the two of you are a formidable team!
I'm going to keep the NavX on the backburner for now and probably ask around at the next BAOC meet to see who might be interested. I wonder if Paul might. Or it can always be individual as well.

Sounds like a good plan! Have you met Reka? She's another Stanford student who sometimes goes to orienteering/ NavX events and I've only ever run with her but I'd guess she's pretty fast.
