| Stinky Pete: | your time was great. I figured you'ed finish in about 28 minutes. i blew a couple of controls. |

| Flying Scotsman: | Of course he won, he's faster, more accurate and know that place like the back of his hand - bet not many people could beat Eric at Magnuson.
I chickened out due to the torrential rain at my place, maybe it was better on the Westside? Lucky I did as you could have ended up in 2nd place....! |

| ebone: | Yeah, I was about 1:20 ahead of 2nd place, Nikolay Nachev. As Ruaraidh says, I know the place like the back of my hand. Further establishing my overwhelming advantage at Magnuson Park...
- I made the original map in 1994-95 - I've worked on several minor updates since then - I've organized many classes and events on the map - my office is in the park, so I train there frequently In the minus column for me: - I gave blood on Wednesday - I'm on training break, so I'm probably slightly de-conditioned |

| Stinky Pete: | so are you saying the without the minus colum you would have sliced off another handfull of minutes? I really suck |
| # Posted 2007-11-20 06:31:27 | |
| ebone: | Probably not more than 1.5 minutes, but it's hard to say. I also lost some time on controls 13 (~40 sec. getting caught up in unmapped blackberry) and 15 (about 20 sec. looking for control, which was in the wrong place about 25m to the NW of where it was mapped). So, a really clean run in good shape might have been 23 minutes, which makes sense for 4.15km with some off-straight-line route choices in flat, runnable, but wet conditions. |
