ha.. i always kind of do a IIFYM diet! haha... but I have been upping my protein lately but not tracking anything... just trying to eat a lot of good food, not a lose or gain any weight right now, and get stronger and fitter.

I've always tweaked the macros and a 40-30-30 (carbs-pro-fat) breakdown has always worked really well for me so that's what i used... and I would my day is typically pretty close just by the nature of what i eat.

I think i may be a rare person as the more carbs i eat the leaner i look and feel.

what have you been doing?

The past 2 years I have kept it close to 170P, 230C, and 160F. One of the gym coaches talked me into changing it up to see how I react with the endurance training. So starting 4 days ago I started doing 170P, 445C, 91F. Totally changed how I am eating for sure, been an interesting few days trying to figure out how to hit those carb and protein numbers with low fat.

Experiment of one I guess.

I think that's a rad experiment... and i think you will benefit from the higher carb intake since you do multiple sessions most days. time to go to costco and by the giant tubs of oatmeal!!!

Was thinking 50lb bag of rice, but oatmeal is a great idea as well. LOL

By the way a bunch of us are meeting JT for beers at Chain Reaction Brewing today (Sunday) at 1pm. I believe Patrick is going as well. Come on out if interested

yeah.. and more carbs = more cals for good beer!!

couldn't make it today. our sundays are pretty booked... we take Fi swimming and wear her out!!
