I've heard of Kikkan :) Raced and trained for some local XC ski races here in Seattle with her uncle Chris I think few years ago, Right around Vancouver Olympics. If I remember he was also an olympian.

Kikkan has been racing in the World Cup since 2005 and won several sprint races there + also World Champs in 2013.

This only shows how little coverage the sport gets in US.
