Time to start training for orienteering. See you in Phoenix tomorrow? ;-)
From upcoming events looks like more white combined w orange to me. how do you log that - white or orange:) Congrats!
GT your in Phoenix???? Tried to get my nefhews to show up so you could compete with the Shahbazian’s
Rudy, White is for skiing, Orange is for sauna.
Well, maybe you logged some orienteering under sauna. look at week of feb 4. way to be relaxed!
Seems like Ben Popp continually making good improvements. Organization this year was excellent and breaking off the Korte cut the crowds some. He’s really hands on — in fact he was the guy who took off my skis for me at the finish.
Asked about an open loppet where you start yourself on another day and get credit for the race and a non-competitive time. Have that at major Euro races (Vasaloppet). Might actually be in the future plans. That also spreads out crowds.
I thought that it was still crowded for most of the race and no Korte skiers either.
Saw lots of results of Craftsbury skiers, they are a fast bunch.
We fly into Boston on Saturday, any orienteering oppturnities for Ski o or even foot O Sunday the 4 th you know about?
Or a place to ski on the way Craftsbury?
Damn. I forgot about the Birkie. I could have been watching your progress along the Birkie Trail rather than watching golf. Congrats on #28. I think I've done 3. But I've done more Worldloppet
races than you!
Races scheduled Sat at Windblown and Sun at Gunstock, both in NH on the way. Snow down there questionable, so have to see how weather goes this week.
You should put the Windblown and Gunstock races on AP so people know about them! Is there any more information than what is on http://www.upnoor.org/
? Might try to go to them if there's any snow left.
Will check again, but does not look like the xc trails are open and assume the meets won’t be foot O ??
