Controls were in Si-Air mode but had been set to go into sleep mode after 4 mins rather than 4hrs!

It was strange how some seemed to work okay but others didn't. It was quite random so you had to check carefully. What about the problem with my split from the last control to the finish on Leg 2? Not sure what's going on here.

Kirstin and myself were running around sorting all of the controls and started just before the first starters. As we had to do a Score and go to all of the controls some of the first starters managed to pass us before we got to the finish. You were one of these competitors and would start to get controls that didn’t work in air mode.
As the start and finish were not reset everyone’s overall times are ok but each of those affected has at least 2 wrong splits one quick (2-3 ) for you and 1 slow. Sorry about this, it was not a Roxburgh Reivers issue and an organisers nightmare and something that even SIman had not seen before.

Oh the joys of modern technology! What would we do without SIman!
