Is that a regular Meteorological Institute thing? (I assume you're still there?). Somebody must have had to have stayed in the office to keep track of all the March record low temperatures....

Yes, we have a ski day once a year.

The journalists are taking full advantage of the cold temperatures. The other day I counted over 5 cold-weather-related articles on the national news site nrk.no, ranging from why you should air your duvet right now to how there is a firewood shortage everywhere. The cold weather possibly contributed to problems for the forecast models where we got an impressive humidity prediction of -0.3 g/kg, a world-record by a long shot.

I would have thought that the amazing humidity prediction was due to everyone at the Institute being too busy watching OL coverage to do proper QA.
