Further northwest it gets less spectacular (more of the track runs inland, although there are still some good ocean views around Sorrento), but less sandy. I've run the full length from London Bridge to Number Sixteen a few times when I've been really keen. Have only ever gone southeast from Number Sixteen once and found it very hard work.

The east end of Bridgewater Bay has a large and deep (several metres) rockpool with a big rock tower overhanging it. On warm days you'll often see people jumping.
