I have noticed Sketchers are pushing into running business, including have a Meb shoe. I like their casual and golf shoes so googled reviews. Sounded good, but there are a lot of good shoes out there including a new brand made in Kenya.

I noticed Hoka Clifton 4 review. The guy lamented that from 1 to 4 each shoe was a little less like the original while saying they were good shoes. He put it as they have become more 'traditional' less cushy while still being cushy, etc.

Read up on the new Nike that the 2 hour marathon was run in. They sound good but price is insane. No shoe is worth that cost unless you have unlimited budget.

What gets me is that some expensive shoes are not durable and I do not mean just the sole as I use shoe goo to overcome that...but I hate when the top tears when tying my shoe...some of the eyelets are pathetic. I'm like John Walker the miler from New Zealand...he like to tie his shoes tight and so do I.

I probably can't beat him now...his secret was he could actually run...I'm not sure we can appreciate what he did for 100 years old...he was running not fast shuffle walking like the others. Thanks.

If it had been a guy especially an older guy I would have speeded up a lot more but I couldn't let myself get in some jogging contest...I did pick it up but I was about 'warmed up' finally (it takes so long these days) and would have picked it up some anyway...she probably helped me speed up at least 30 seconds. That trail would have been a good place to run and actually time wise only 10 minutes from i 35 on the north side of Edmond.
