jeseniaz: hey girl its me Jesenia. I was just wondering how you were doing. I finally decided to get around and start putting all my training on here. this is really cool. I had seen it before but thought it was too much work to do, but hey i like it now. i was going to ask you though, do you do hill training?

TBorish: Hey! How are you? I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving break. Holly got me into attackpoint at the end of last school year, and i'm really liking it. i love being able to look back and see how much training i've done. I don't do much hill training. During cross country season we did some (though less than what they normally do since we were running such flat courses). I should do more than I actually do, it's just hard to motivate myself to do hill training and stuff like that in between cross country and track because that's my "let's just got for long runs" time. Seattle is a pretty hilly city though, so we do end up going on runs with hills sometimes, but not actual hill training.

ebone: Hi, Jesenia. Nice to see you on Attackpoint!

Tori, if you ever got the itch to run some hills, you've got some abundantly long ones in your neighborhood, at Discovery Park.

TBorish: I'm planning on running in Discovery Park today, but just running there from my house, around the 3 mile loop trail, and then back home. I should get a map of the park and go try out lots of the different trails (and see what other hills i can find) because i only know that one route through the park.

ebone: When I've run there, I've usually just run either the Loop Trail, or the Loop Trail with an added detour down the North Bluff Trail, along the shore to the point, and back up. That's the big hill. There are some other trails to be explored, though. There's an O map (that Mike Schuh made for when he used to teach intro. to O there) of the SE corner of the park, around the visitors center. I have some extra copies, if you want one; just remind me before a meet.
