Seems like it's hard to find o shoes for wide feet, much less shoes with ankle supports in them.

Oroc 280s ... V2.

Inov8, to my surprise, has brought them back as a "version 2". (No idea what the differences are cause my originals are long gone to the dumpster.)

I was googling around for O-shoes, and it led me to the Inov8 website, and there they were. Strangely if you ask the Inov8 website explicit for orienteering shoes, they don't get listed! But if you ask for "trail running" they are listed.

Anyway, feeling reckless, I clicked order, and 6 days later they appeared on my porch. (I added a packet of socks so I could get up to $150 and so free shipping.) Remarkably, the waybill said they had been shipped directly from England!
And I also was hit with a currency conversion fee on my credit card even though the website used US dollars.

But still no "wide last" version that I could see. I'm instead just hoping that the nice comfy flexible upper will accommodate my duck feet. And by ankle braces I simply meant inserting my old separate active ankles.

I picked up a pair of the 280v2 from Zappos.com a few months ago (had a gift card). Only run in them a few times, seem ok though I like 340s better...
