6 transfers? in st louis that would not even be possible. and finding 3 other non cart golfers to play w. what are the odds of that. considering the context, you should log your time double.

Ha ha! That was a TOTAL of six different vehicles: two to get to the golf course, and four to get back home.
Golf courses are often out in the country on very busy arterial highways. Not a pleasant place to walk or even stand, with cars and trucks coming by at 50+ mph only inches away. So coming home, I took the first bus that came along, rather than waiting an hour for the return bus. And the bus I took carried me further out. And I eventually circled around to near O'Hare where there is a lot of transit. And came home from there.
Having transit apps on my iPhone is a tremendous help showing times, schedules, and transit options when I'm far from home.
