MANY years ago, I ran a 25-30K(?) race and there was a howling tailwind. They interviewed me on tv afterwards and I said that the wind didn't really help that much b/c it felt like it sucked the air out of our mouths. Tim Stratioti (2nd) never let me live that stupid statement down.
That said, I'm hoping for another day like that June 16th! I'll need it...
