If you fell over at the finish, I wasn't there to be landed on or see it because you were so far ahead!

There must be some RTNX 2003 photos that can be dug up...

Lean and mean, running road marathons, crushing opponents, winning adventure races... oh to be young again! Maybe you should all put up a photo from 2003. Were you even born yet Hermes?

2003 - Salomon Adventure Challenge in Buckhorn, Ontario - 10-14 hrs with Sarah "Crash" Caylor and Tracey Richards. Phatty was the RD. Our female team beat 'Bent's male team, not that I would usually remember that sort of thing. :)

AMAZING!!!! Love this!

(Must try and remember how to upload a pic...)
Apr 4, 2018 11:52 PM #
Bash:
You need to embed a photo that is stored somewhere else like Flickr or Smugmug (which I use). If you are willing to upload a photo to Facebook and make it public, you could copy the link here and we could click on it to see it. If you don't make it public, I would see it as your Facebook Friend but FB would need Suzi's help.

I'm happy to upload and post a 2003 photo for anyone taking part in this conversation who doesn't have an online photo storage system. Just email it to me.

That would require the photos to be digital though right?
Apr 5, 2018 12:53 AM #
Bash:
'Fraid so. Just take a picture of the picture on your phone. It won't be perfect but we'll get the idea.

I set up a smug mug account so I’m halfway there!

Bash:
Woo hoo! It’s a great place to back up photos in full resolution (Facebook massacres photos) and share them with friends and family with different levels of privacy. They can download or print them or even make mugs or T-shirts if you allow that option. My photos are all set to be visible only to people with the link and can’t be found by a search engine. (Those are gallery-level settings.) Feel free to ask questions as you’re getting started.

Btw I used to use Picasa, which was free. When it was “upgraded” to Google Photos, they removed some important features and I decided it was better to pay for a service where users’ demands matter more and there is incentive to remain in the photo business. That’s why I didn’t switch to a free Flickr account.

I don't know if this is correct??

First marathon. Yikes. That form though. ;)

Second is proof that I was born before 2003!

So, Bash: you're saying that I can use Hermes' link and order these photos on my mugs?
On my t-shirt?!
Apr 5, 2018 10:30 PM #
Bash:
Great shots, Hermes! <3

I'd never looked but it turns out Smugmug isn't in the T-shirt business. However, since Hermes has left that option turned on, you can order prints, refrigerator magnets, phone case, mouse pad, mug, playing cards.... even a puzzle in a box! (Hermes will be excited to hear that; I'll bet her Mom gets a "Hank puzzle" for Christmas.)

Hermes, if you want the photo to be displayed in this thread, click on the share icon in the lower right corner when you're looking at the photo (box with arrow coming out of the upper right corner) and under "Embed Photo", click HTML, then choose Size = Medium (or whatever makes the photo no more than 600 pixels wide). Then your HTML will appear in the box. Copy it and paste it here.

Actually I guess it also proves she was in fact born before 2003.
