Discussion: Jock's form

I'm a bit concerned about Jock's form, I saw this as a key preparation race as he warmed up as my proxy to take on Charlie at BOC, but he was whole minutes off your pace.

Any takeaway message for me to get into him about ?

Get his British passport sorted?

I thought he did pretty well - a lot of the Aussies struggle when they come over here and run in Woodhill. Wouldn't rule him out of doing well at BOC.

I should've signed him up for SYO while he was here!

Can't remember Bill, are you here for BOC?
If so SYO M50 relay team should be OK without any more foreigners ;-)

Could all be on the beach amongst the famous boulders.

They might be famous, but they don't actually cover a very large area from what I remember.

only maps I know of anywhere near there are limestone areas with lots of small dolines (nothing as full on as Slovenian-style, though). Maybe they've discovered some more - or will serve up something completely different.

That could be fun - so long as we don't have to spend the whole time crossing *!@#@#! unmapped fences.

Ha ha. Haven't you perfected your electric fence vaulting technique yet Bill?

Usually just run along the fence until I find a gate. Adds interest to the navigational challenge as you're sometimes approaching the control from a very different direction!
