weren't you doing the Monday morning duathlon??

Good point- doing the running leg of the triathlon on Wednesday morning and with a selection race this weekend I thought it may be a bit much. Grace did it though!

Probably wise. I hope Grace finished as first woman!
Although obviously the big questions are i) whether she beat the FVO pb, ii) whether she beat my pb (disappointingly this is not the same as the FVO pb) and iii) whether Rona and Jonathan did it too?

To answer your questions, Grace (who was the sole molloy participant) came second to a girl wearing a GBR tri suit- although she probs should be in Australia not Lanzarote? I don’t think the FVO PB will have been breached....

Okay....so I am thinking Nixon doesn't have it as the course is new since he last was there, duathlon used to start/finish at the track but now both transitions are at the new pool and bike centre adjacent to the new apartments, only the finish is at the track.
So maybe it is a Rosco pb from our trip in Jan 2016?

I’m not sure they’re comparable, as on Monday it was deemed too windy to do the usual Tinajo route, so it was just 5 laps of the lagoon instead (which has been resurfaced since 2016)

Eek - that sounds flat and smooth and much faster than the Tinajo option - I agree we shouldn't check Grace's time!!

Yeah I think the wind maybe cancelled that out but yes it’s probably faster
