i'm with ya being burnt on the trainer. it happens to me every year... i can only take a few months of really knocking out workouts on it before my brain explodes!

Yeah, I've got some good ideas for routes and rides to prep for Breck. Nice thing is that the course is fitting to my preferences for rides, so for long stuff, I can basically just go do what I think is "fun" anyway. Much more like training for running mountain 100s. Might actually swap in another day of running. Schedule wise it's easier for me, and get a lot of bang for the buck running trails for an hour vs trainer for an hour and I can do it in the dark.
