Yes Blair you can still get a balloon! Since it's electronic submission now though I'm not sure how many people bother going in to collect one. I submitted at 11pm last night so still haven't gone to get mine!

Pleased to hear the tradition continues. I got the balloon (riding my bike) all the way back to the Bureau building - was keen to show it off because quite a few of my colleagues had got balloons of their own in the preceding few years - and it popped as I went in the door :-(.

Hahah oh no!!! I guess the only solution is to write another thesis ;)
