Looking forward to reading yours!
Just noticed this now. Great report and congratulations! It felt like winter here until yesterday so it seems so foreign to read about mountain biking and paddling. Sounds so nice.
Note to self: look for Forto coffee shots.
I like it when we have to punch wristbands. Alas, I've seen quite a few AR cheaters.
It's USARA that needs to move their event, haha! Because of Bob's other job, WT can't happen until the end of September, when it's already getting cool in the Great White North. You Muricans should be able to race all year round so why hold your Nationals so early? ;)
Based on the USARA might make Troy a $1 rage thread, Americans would lose their mind not punching something for more than 10 or 15 minutes while having some sense of their relative placement, so I'm happy to have WT to myself!
As I've probably told you, we once received that critique from an American racer: "It would be more fun to have 40-50 checkpoints in 24 hrs but you only had 8."
Me: "If we can do it in 7 CPs next year, we will."
To each his/her own. I enjoy rogaines too.
Also, a U.S. racer once complained that our ground off-trail was too uneven (not an Attackpointer, obviously).
Glad a few of you still come up to see us. :) Btw I used your huge Nitrogaine mug as one of our water containers before last weekend's impending ice storm. I thought of you all with a grateful smile. :)
WT is where it’s at. One of these days the secret will be out to this side of the border.
WT is high on the collective bucket list in our house, for a year when there isn't a conflict!
We’d love to have RS here! But we accept that USARA matters more to most of our American friends, which is totally understandable.
