Discussion: Up and back twice?

Will Bill ever complete the trip if you guys keep going up and back, up and back?

A re-supply jaunt? I suppose Bill only did one of these trips, right?

The way it works is that I drop Bill off each morning and then drive to a place where the trail crosses a road. I then park and hike southbound to meet him. In this case after hiking in a mile I came to a swollen creek that I decided to not cross. The trail was quite nice so I walked back to the parking area and then did the returned walk to the swollen creek. I waited a few minutes until he came along.
