I'm glad you got at least one nice day. Hard to have expected cold and rain in Portugal in April. Here we are getting plenty of lingering winter. Snowed again last night, but only a dusting. Only one warm day so far since around March 1.

Thanks, yes, last week was dismal, especially because expectations were high for warm, dry weather in April in Portugal. Seems like they had a drought in Jan. and Feb. instead of the usual rain, and after March it changed to the same repeated pattern of one rainstorm after the next until the fields were mostly underwater. But the last few days made one forget the previous week.
Coming back to Switzerland under a high pressure system (such as most of central Europe) with increasing temperatures and nothing but sunshine. Tomorrow, it should climb over 25 degrees, actually, in some parts close to 30 degrees.
Yes, I heard about your cold, damp, greyish weather. I understand how hard that would be. And everything will eventually end........... Carissimi saluti ;-)
