I am planning on a 36 hour fast and a really, really long run in the middle of the night to simulate Långa Natten. Of course it won't really be the same, but you do what you can.
So true. I had a very strange Tiomila experience last year since I followed the broadcast from New Zealand, thus getting Långa Natten for lunch after an early morning start and the final legs in the evening...
I think I´ll pass on your very serious approach and skip both the fast and the long run (partly because crutches and long runs don´t really match very well).
