Discussion: Oops!

I thought that the people picking up controls and collecting the water stops were one and the same. I unfortunately had to empty all the water jugs and create a makeshift sack out of my jacket to carry them back.

Well, I had quite a fine time at this wonderful meet, but it appears that you, Peter, had the best time of all!

Greg, I've been really impressed with your orienteering. But carrying back all those control stands from the most distant points and cleaning out water stops with 13 jugs of water: that's amazing!

He was smart enough to drink the water so he could carry the jugs back empty.

Thanks to all of you who helped before, during and after. It was a really nice event (except for the sucky weather on Sunday which I won't hold you responsible for). But I would like to give a good talking to whoever/whatever is responsible for the incredibly horrible weather we've had this spring.
