Hmm... I don't know the chemistry of bugs well enough to know if they could be a PED. However, if you collect enough of them you could make a bug PATE'.

Might depend on your perspective when beginning to read. I already figure the odds are better than 50/50 that when racing boats, skis or bikes I am competing against guys who have some medically unnecessary help. Just the way it is these days and I'm well past being depressed about it. The book explains the historical, cultural, political and economic forces that have helped propel things to where they are now. It's pretty interesting.

With respect to orienteering I would add it to the list when competing in Europe. When I get to ORingen this summer, I figure odds are better than 50/50 that I'll be racing against guys who are benefiting from medically unnecessary help.
