I think because there was this cute 50-something mom walking around the track, I was subconsciously showing off. I was completely spent after that 6th rep, no mas. so prob ran them too fast. I'll try some 400s Sunday, then I guess just random "speed" workouts in the 200-800 range, maybe some 1200s. any advice. I was thinking 2 workouts per week should tune me up without injury. bh
tempo runs, cruise intervals if its a stretch to maintain (i often do this).
There was this attractive woman on the track for my last workout. The workout went really well. I think its just human nature to love company while running a tough workout...towards the end we were smiling at each other - just encouraging each other as runners do.
