was a real worry - as it is at the start it has the highest concentration of feet around you and with kids darting and dashing there is quite some potential for an ankle twist. Even back/middle of pack where I was it had potential!
As it happened leepback did have a fall about 100m from the turn around and ankle suffered quite a lot - stopping him from SL next weekend!
The event was interesting layout but the highly uneven ground was a deal breaker for me and now it’s crossed off the list I will move on elsewhere.
I have been on dirt trails like at Lawson and you need to be constantly vigilant but even those didn’t have the trip points of those solidified muddy wheel ruts.
