Discussion: Camping - does anyone already have bookings and need more people to fill them?

Has anyone already booked lean-tos or yurts at Mountain Lakes or Ward Pound Ridge that they don't have the people to fill? Or should I go ahead and book something and then start asking if anyone wants to share mine? (Assuming it's still possible to book anything for the Memorial Day weekend) Thanks.

My understanding is that all 3 yurts have been booked for juniors and families. Not sure how full they are. Don't know anything about the lean-tos.

I've been offered a space in a not quite full yurt, so I'm taken car of. And based on the length of the thread, I guess most everyone else must have arrangements already made.

Jon, can you please confirm that you will be staying in the yurt? If yes, i need your email.

Hi - we are looking for a space for a Swiss orienteer who has just emerged from the MIT woodwork. I'm assuming he could pitch a tent somewhere near the yurts if nothing else? He's riding with the Henry St gang.

Hi all, yes, I'm registered for the event. Unfortunately the camping sites to put up tents are already fully booked at Mountain Lakes and also Ward Pound Ridge. Therefore, if there is still a free place in one of your yurts, I'd be more than happy to take it. Otherwise I wanted to ask, if it was possible for some yurt, that I could just bring my own air sleeping pad and sleeping bag and "accommodate myself additionally" in one of your yurts. I've checked with the front desk - this would be ok for them.

The two yurts that were rented for NJP people are fully booked. The third was rented by khall, whom you should contact regarding floor space.

The yurt that I booked is full. I am sorry, but there is not space for another person.
