I'm back to hopping, doing jumping jacks, etc as it seems to actually be good for knees so far. I'm trying some sideways steps like a football defensive back...I fell down during a soccer drill during my one and only 1 season coaching stint about 10 years ago and bruised my knee. It stayed stiff for a month. Expected the doc would tell me I had cancer and would lose the leg and one or two arms and all he did was give me a knee brace with a strap above and below the knee and a hole where the knee cap was and told me I had a loose knee cap that moved around too much. I walked out of the office feeling 100.14% better and was able to run with it with no issues other than the brace itself right away. I'm doing stuff to stabilize and strength muscles around knees but I had stopped doing all my springing exercises due to calf issues...but I think that is another reason for my lack of speed...no spring in feet and legs...I rebounded in driveway for James and I could not move sideways...I would send a signal to my legs to dart after the ball and nothing happened...kinda like trying to 'sprint' across a 4 lane road and increasing my pace from 10 min to 9:54 per mile.
Hope you are on the rebound.

The knee stayed sore. I was fooled by Tues and Thursday being able to run and the knee loosen up. I should have walked yesterday.
