So you previewed it, then did it the hard way? Did you need your lowest gear?
On the normal way up, got as low as my second-lowest gear. I was hoping to be able to push one gear higher, but it wasn't in the cards.
On the steep way, not the slightest doubt as to what gear I'd be in. Don't know how steep it is, probably 20% +/-. Need to be able to push a lot more watts.
I would be so fearful going that slowly of tipping over and not being able to unclip. You must have very good balance on the bike.
I'm not sure about balance, but my concentration is excellent. It seems very easy to not pay attention for a moment and quickly lose it.
