Discussion: in the house vs. outside

I leave mine on the back porch when she falls asleep in it! Especially in the winter when she was all bundled up it was too warm in the house. Now, though, it's almost too hot outside the house.

But if you did that in the U.S. (if the porch was visible from neighbors's houses) they might call social services on you for negligence. Sheesh. Wasn't like this when I was growing up.

Yeah, I've heard that's a possibility Janet, eep! But we don't really have the option because no back porch anyways... =( Do think if we had one, it would be fine, pretty private (especially if we actually gated the way to the back) and we know our neighbors and I don't think any would call social services...

We left Lukas outside to sleep on our visits to the US, much to the shock of all our friends’ kids. “You left the baby outside!!” Their concern was actually helpful since they kept such a good eye on him and let us know the moment he woke up!

Another reason to meet your neighbors, I guess!
