Hi! Is there any plan to make a movescount-attakpoint sync feature? Like the gc web sync? I bought a suunto watch but realised that I have to manually transfer the files now...

As a Suunto user myself I'd like to see this although I imagine a Strava sync would probably give a better return based on the number of users whose devices already sync to Strava. I'd be happy to work on a Movescount sync if it suited Ken.

Until then, what is the preferred format for manual transfer? XML seems to lack location data, so I switched to TCX, but I've just discovered this kills climb.

If you auto-sync Movescount to Strava and manually sync the gpx file you get both location and climb. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure you get the same result if you take the gpx file straight from Movescount.

There was also a discussion recently about a circuitous path to autosync Movescount or Strava to AP, here:

I've been meaning to give this a try but still lacking the elusive round tuit.

I usually download gpx file from Movescount and upload manually to AP.

I hadn't even thought about gpx since I assumed that heart rate data would be missing. But I've just tried, and the upload dialog tells me heart rate is included.

Thank you!

If you plug your watch into the computer instead of bluetooth to the phone, there is a hidden folder that stores the .sml files, which can be uploaded directly. This cuts out f the additional step up uploading to movescount and then downloading the gpx and then uploading to AP.
