Would be really interesting to understand more about the map for the blind lad, what was involved and how it was achieved - hope it worked well for him.

It was a very simplified tactile map of the main features in the DAP area with control locations overlaid using a circular piece of raised plastic. This allowed him to feel the location and direction of where the tracks go and where the controls were. I also set the course up in MapRun so that he got an audible signal as he approached the control point. It seemed to work pretty well and was amazing watching him run back across the grass to the finish point.
